Michelle Williams Thrilled for ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion

Dawson's Creek ReunionFor those of you who  know Michelle Williams best from movies: ‘My Week With Marilyn‘ and ‘Brokeback Mountain‘ you are really missing out if you’ve never seen where her stardom began. There was a little show on the WB called ‘Dawson’s Creek’ that ran from 1998 – 2003 and anyone who was anyone watched it :P

It turns out Michelle Williams is just as in love with this show as I am. After hearing of James Van Der Beek suggesting a Dawson’s Creek get together, Michelle stated:

“He has my e-mail! He has my home phone and my cell phone, so we talk. He could  totally ask! I’ve always said I’m totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows so we can do that.” According to Shine.

Incase you missed out on this epic coming of age t.v. show, it stars: James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams, Kerr Smith, and Busy Philipps.

Check Out: How Often You Should Wash Your Hair

And: Get A Personalized Skincare Routine

It will be interesting to see the other stars responses to Van Der Beek and Williams’ enthusiasm. I’m hoping this actually comes to fruition!

Were you a Dawson’s Creek fan or did you miss this craze?  Comment and let me know!

5 Reasons to Shop at Modcloth.com

It would be surprising to find someone who doesn’t know about Modcloth.com. They’ve grown so much over the years and they are a big player in the fashion world.

Here are 5 reasons I love to shop at Modcloth:

1) Customer Service: Every time I have ever had to contact support with a question, they have been more than helpful  with my inquiry. The same goes with any issue or concern, i’m always treated very respectfully and with courtesy.

2) Women!: It’s so refreshing to call and receive customer service from a staff consisting of mostly women. Nothing against the guys here, it’s just that most- if not all of corporate america is dominated by men.. It’s nice to see the ladies taking charge and showing their business savvy. It’s about time women everywhere took charge, and showed the world just what we’re made of.

3) It’s like a Blast from the Past: Modcloth.com has a large assortment of vintage and vintage-inspired products. From clothing and books to apartment decor. It’s so fun to see happy little things that remind me of the Golden Days. They also have a lot of knick knacks like notebooks and1

4) Color: If there is one thing I love: it’s a bright selection of colors… all mixed together if at all possible ;P This brings us back to number 3, when everything had a pretty and bright hugh. Long before the days of chrome and stainless steel everything, there were yellow and aqua casserole dishes like these. I would take those casseroles any day.

5) Blogger Support: Okay, so i’m a little biased with this one but it’s still true! Modcloth has their own stellar blog but they also have a great award they present to other bloggers. It’s called Blogger of the Moment. The lucky blogs featured get a badge on their blog and a fun snippet on the Modcloth Blog.

Thank you to Modcloth for supporting the blog community!

Feel free to comment with your love for Modcloth :)

Should You Celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Is Valentine’s Day just an opportunity for Hallmark to cash out and to make        the single people feel insecure? It seems like every year there are a number of  pressures and emotions floating about: “What should I buy her?”, “Why am I still single?”, “Will he think i’m being too sappy?”. Sometimes it gets a little out of hand. I know many people boycott the whole affair and just treat it like any other day of the year. I see where they are coming from. It’s easy to feel like you’re the odd one out because for some reason there is an entire holiday dedicated to all of the people in love…. or in some cases “in like”. You watch the boys deliver chocolates and flowers to their special someones and you see the girl blush with happiness and pride over her new lovely treasures. It’s hard not to wonder when the hell Prince Charming is gonna come knocking at your door….

Personally, i’ve always enjoyed celebrating the holiday. Even when I was a kid and i’d walk from desk to desk delivering my valentine’s to the other students, I thought it was a fun thing to take part in. I also have a blast when i’m in a relationship. It’s kind of a fun challenge to figure out what to get the other person because let’s face it- boys aren’t quite as breathless over flowers as I tend to be. I also like to celebrate with people i’m not romantically involved with. It’s always fun to go buy valentine’s and little treats for my best friends and family. When i’m single, that’s great too. I love any old excuse to buy myself chocolates and/ or balloons. Not to mention, I really have a good time poking fun at the holiday; pretending to be bitter that you will be spending your dateless evening watching One Tree Hill re-runs is a great way to get a laugh…. because I really love One Tree Hill ;P

In any case- weather you’re single or married or just have a really intense relationship with your iPod, my advice is to make the best of the day. Don’t be bitter that you’re single. Celebrate with a co-worker or friends. Maybe your cat deserves some extra attention? I mean, after all- Is it that painful to accept an excuse to celebrate something… anything for that matter?
